Stealing the nomination
The Huffington Post has an infuriating yet interesting post about how Hillary will have control of the Rules and Bylaws committee and may use this control to force the party to seat the Michigan and Florida delegations. Those states were warned and punished for breaking party rules, yet Hillary as the self-serving voice of the disenfranchised want to see their votes counted. Of course this is only because Obama was not on the Michigan ballot and in Florida despite a campaigning ban she visited the state prior to their primary, but oh, it was not to campaign.Sure, we buy that. If Hillary can subvert the will of the people and corrupt the ethics fo the party to steal the election it will be no different than when the non-compaigning Hubert Humphrey used back-room deals to steal the 1968 nomination from Eugene McCarthy. The results of this dealing was a democratisation of the DNC and the election of Richard Nixon. Hillary's machinations are the 2008 equivalent of Humprey's back-room deas and will surely lead to the election of John McCain.
