a moment of silence
On August 18th, Dorre’s almost six year old dwarf rabbit, William, died. He and his hutch-mate, Pooh, spent the day in the exercise pen. That night when we went to put them away in their hutch. William was dead inside his box. Pooh looked very upset and was laying against him. The puppies knew something was wrong, but they couldn’t figure out what. Dorre seems to be handling it alright. Although, we are both worrying on how Pooh will handle being alone for the first time in his life. He searched his hutch for Will for awhile before giving up. Hopefully he will be ok.
