one diasaster after another

Monday was bad enough, I idioticaly saved my outline for speech comm in /tmp. Well it was deleted so I had to scramble to recreate it in the morning, which meant I was not able to study for my lingusistics test, fortunately though it was not hard. But Tuesday, the day of the speech was a nightmare. First off, I forgot to get a folder to give to my speech instructor so he could store all of his notes and the graded outlines. No problem, I walked to the MSC bought a folder, a harvest bar and a fruitwater and began to head to Harrington for lingusistics. Just as I got to the door to leave Rudder Tower it began pouring. I did not have time to wait, so I just trugged on. By the time I got based Earl Rudder’s statue, I was soaked. I kept on going all the way to Harrington. My shoes were filled with water, my entire body was soaked, and my cloths were water-logged. I went into the men’s room grabed a ton of paper towels and went into a stall to ring out my cloths and dry my skin off. After sitting through class freezing and wet, I went on to Blocker to give my speech. I was nervous, I had problems reading my speaking notes, I spoke too slow, I had two pauses, and I went 21 seconds over. Not a very auspicious first speech. And then, to my surprise, the “trim” we had asked the groomers to give Cranberry turned into a shave so now she is bald and the pups have to stay crated in the dining room so she doesn’t get sick or sunburned or anything else that can happen to a hairless dog. Even worse, she has some kind of skin problem which the Vets suspect might be some kind of allergy. She is currently on an anti-histimine, and an antibiotic. Hopefully she will be fine. Well I just hope the rest of the week turns out better.
