Well, I got my new host…
Day One.
The entire company’s systems went down. I called the third party biller to get a contact number, and they emailed the company asking them to fix the problem.
Day Two.
Still down, and I can’t seem to find contact information.
Day Three.
The server is back online, I’m happy, and copying my MySQL database over to the new host. Then suddenly my server goes down. Fortunately, this time the hosting company is still alive. I email them a question and wait.
Day Four.
The server now says my account is suspended and I get a response to my email saying that the third part biller refunded my money so they suspended my account. I call the third party biller, they say that they have done no such thing. So I tell them to refund my money. I then change my DNS back to the way it was before.
Day Five.
I now have my site pointed back to my brother’s server and I get an email from the hosting company saying that they have suspended my account since the biller refunded my money.
So there went that. I still need a hosting company that can give me >=300mb for <=$10 a month with PHP/MySQL, SSH, SFTP and IMAP. If anyone knows of one PLEASE let me know. And for God’s sake avoid www.sapphiresoft.co.uk
